busy

i have been so busy, i barely have time for my computer anymore. i have spent the last three weekends out of town, and all the weekdays i've been working. and the weekends before the last three? well, i don't even remember what happened that far back.

we have been trying to prepare for the move, while mixing in some of our normal lives (continuing to work at our jobs here until moving day), and passionately fighting for custody of my kids. the custody mess is taking up most of my time, and quite a bit of money too. hopefully things turn out the way we want them.. but that's an issue i don't plan to address here.

the new baby is doing great (i think). we can feel it kicking now, and it feels very strong. this baby kicks a lot harder than Carli did, and i hope that is a sign this kid is healthy. i have an appointment with my OB on friday. this will probably be the last time i see her, since i'm moving to a new state. i can honestly say i will miss her a whole bunch. i can come back to visit my family, and my friends... but what kind of crazy would i be if i popped in to see my old ob/gyn? "hey! good to see you! will you feel around on my uterus?"

hopefully, i will have the big anatomy ultrasound scheduled for the week after my appointment, or possibly just a few hours after that appointment. i'm pretty nervous about it, but excited to make sure this baby is healthy. i'll definitely update after my appointment(s).

until the next post, i will be working, visiting my lawyer, and packing up my house. (so exhausting!!) oh, and check out our new house!!
