a friend from high school posted on her facebook today: one of my favorites to teach on..we have a world full of unforgiveness...and people wonder why bad things happen..unforgiveness eats at you like cancer...just let it go and let god.
oh how badly i wanted to comment. but, Ray says i'm mean, and i always want to cause problems, and argue with people. (i may want to... but i never actually do).
so she's saying that unforgiveness (which is not a word) is why bad things happen? try using that logic to explain the death of a child. that's a sure way to get a parent to give god the big "f- you". because i have not forgiven someone, Carli died.... like a punishment from god? like god is saying "well... that's what you get, because you're hating on other people. i killed your kid. sorry, those are my rules." why do these people worship such a cruel evil god?
i'd like to tell that lady to shove it up her ass. these churchy people drive me insane. they like to think their constant preaching turns people to god, when in reality it does the exact opposite. stop blaming everything on god. good things happen because you put effort and time into them. good things happen to those who work towards making them happen. every once in a while someone gets lucky, and a good thing happens for no reason (like winning the lottery). bad things happen because that's life. you're either doing stupid shit to get you in a bad position (like my ex) or you're unlucky and it just happens.
God doesn't decide who gets what. if he did, i would have my baby- because i don't care who i haven't forgiven.. i did not deserve to deliver a dead child. and if by some chance i am being punished... why do crackheads get to have healthy kids? why are millions of children abused everyday, and there is no bolt of lightning to strike their abusers down?
"let it go and let god" my ass. i have a hard time believing in a god who says "you first" when it comes to forgiveness.

I can't handle those people.
You are NOT being punished. People all over the world who suck at life get to keep their babies. And we lose ours while doing everything right and being ultra careful. Clearly, life is not fair.
I don't think God kills babies. I believe in a God who loves everyone. I couldn't believe in someone who kills babies. That just wouldn't fly.
I can't stand the ignorance of some people, especially in the Christian circle. And for the thousandth time, I want to scream at the top of my lungs and yell, "Don't give me a reason why my son had to die! There is no explanation, rime, or reason. So shut your face."
We're totally with you. All enraged and pissed at people who think all of life's problems are because "we" are deserving.
