a quick update

halloween came and went. like all other holidays, i was missing Carli. that was to be expected; it's like a visible hole in my family during special events. Lynzie was a butterfly fairy, Lillie was a cat, and i'll never get to put Carli in a costume. yes, that is how my mind works. halloween is  such a kid-centered holiday (most are) and it's hard to not think about my missing kid. she should have been 4 months old. i wonder what kind of costume we would have picked for her...

despite my negativity, halloween went well. Lynzie and Lillie had a lot of fun trick-or-treating, and got way more candy than they will ever need. i'll probably throw half of it away. don't tell them, but once i ran out of candy for the trick-or-treaters, i used their candy from the last parade. hehe!!

 yes, those are fake smiles...

here they are getting ready for the "halloween parade"

anyway- i had a doctor appointment today. everything was boring and normal (aka: a huge success!!). i think this was the first appointment where the doctor did normal pregnancy stuff. she asked if i had any problems or questions. i said no. she measured my belly, and listened to Eden. everything was good, and we were done in about 5 minutes. woo hoo!!

now, i'm waiting for a text or phone call from my sister, because she has an anatomy scan today for her little baby bean. i can't wait to hear how everything went! of course, i am just hoping for healthy.
